Hetty ( Fichtner) Van Hattum was born on March 26, 1924, in The Dutch East Indies and passed away on September 30, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. Hetty was preceded in death by her son, Edward deBruyn and first husband, Lodewyk deBruyn. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, William Van Hattum; son, Robert Van Hattum; daughter, Jeannette and her husband, Greg Miller; grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Anneka Miller , Edie and Jeff O’Brien, Elana and Chuck Cantu; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
