Hilda Esperanza Lopez Sosa de Duarte's Obituary
Hilda Esperanza López Sosa de Duarte, age 85 of Dallas, TX gained her Angel wings on December 9, 2020 in Dallas, TX. She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Central America on February 7, 1935. She is preceded in death by her father, Everildo López Roldan, her mother Tonita Sosa de López, her sister Irma Griselda López Sosa and her brother Oscar Estuardo López Sosa.
She worked for Taylor Publishing Company from 1967 to 1979 and Dallas Independent School District as a teacher aide from 1980 to 2006. She retired from DISD in 2006.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Fernando Antonio Duarte Fajardo. Sisters in Coppell: Thelma Yolanda López Sosa, Alba Marina López Sosa and Magda G. López-Sanchez (husband Mario Jose Sanchez). Brother in Guatemala: Roderico López Zepeda (wife Jeniffer Brenda Elizabeth Colindres Rodriguez de López) Children: Erick Fernando Duarte López (wife Yolanda Duarte) of Garland, TX. Edgar Ernesto Duarte López of Richardson; Ingrid Lorena Duarte López (domestic partner Edward Ramon Jr) of Garland, TX. Grandchildren: Erick Fernando Duarte Jr. (wife Jeannie Duarte) of Sherman, TX; Elissa Dianne Miller (husband Jakeb Miller) of Plano, TX; Daniel Phillip Duarte (wife Yesenia Ayde Duarte) of Garland, TX. Great grandchildren: Julia Starr Cates; Noah Antonio Duarte; Kelln Augusto Duarte; Paxton Zephaniah Duarte; Avery Elizabeth Miller; Alina Sarai Garcia. Nieces: Alba Eugenia López Porres; Keyla Izabella López Nephew: Manuel Alejandro López Porres. Former daughter-in-law Elvia Herrera Duarte.

Funeral services will be January 7, 2021 at Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 at 2pm. Interment to follow at 3pm. Viewing from 9am to 1:30pm.
