Hilda Judith Maldonado's Obituary
Hilda Judith Maldonado, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born April 22, 1935 to Joe M. Tapia and Josefina (Flores) Tapia in Red Rock, Arizona. She was 82 years of age.Hilda married Frank R. Maldonado in December, 1956 in El Paso, Texas.She leaves behind to cherish her memory her lovely daughters; Cynthia Redford and husband Tom of Cross Roads, Texas, and Kathy Parker of Irving, Texas; three devoted sons, Michael Maldonado and wife Renee of Garland, Texas, Joseph Maldonado of Mesquite, Texas, and Danny R. Maldonado and wife Deborah of Garland, Texas; sisters, Lucia R. Carrillo and Lupe Davila; brothers, Manuel Tapia, Frank Tapia, Luis Tapia, Richard Tapia, and Joe Tapia, Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family and dear friends.She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Maldonado and her daughter, Frances R. Jones.The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. Please stop by the reception desk and the funeral home staff will escort you back to state rooms E-F. The service be at 12:30 pm Friday, March 16, 2018 at Restland Memorial Park in the Wildwood Chapel. Following the service, there will be a short procession to Veterans II where Hilda will be laid to rest beside her husband, Frank R. Maldonado. Following the graveside committal service, the family requests your presence for a reception at the Restland Event Center across the street from the funeral home.Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
