PALMA, HILDA is preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Joe Gomez Palma. She is survived by her father, Lupe C. Montero; sisters, Rachel Sanchez and husband, Frank; Stephanie Booth and husband, Kurt; brother, Lupe Montero Jr. and wife, Shirley; mother-in-law, Natividad Palma; brothers-in-law, Jesse Palma and wife, Abby, Trino Palma and wife, Nina, Cookie Dorsey, Vicki Valderas and Nina Valderas; nieces and nephews, Monica Palma (Mark) Marcellin, Felicia Palma Toles, Stevie (Jenny) Valderas, Mark, Sarah and Michael Valderas, Alicia and Nicholas Dorsey, Jayme Montero (Brad) Pesnell, Trey Montero, Roman (Andrea) Sanchez, Alisha Sanchez (Jesse) Avelino, Hannah Booth (JJ) Foust, Nicole Booth, Capt. Joshua (Kari) Montero, USMC, Jennifer Montero, Jessica Montero; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great nieces; 1 great-great nephew; and her beloved dog, Jimbo. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Diaz Montero; brother, Hector Montero; and father-in- law, Trino V. Palma. Hilda was a 1965 graduate of R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton. She retired from Crossmark in 2009 as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Hilda was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt, who will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 2:30 PM in Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), 2501 Oak Lawn Avenue, Suite 435, Dallas, Texas 75219.
