Hiram Gilbert Jester Jr.'s Obituary
JESTER, JR. HIRAM GILBERT Jester Jr., Hiram Gilbert (Gil) Age 84, passed away Thursday, January 20th in Dallas, TX. Mr. Jester was retired and a former lifetime employee of the railroads, particularly the Western Pacific Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad. He was an accomplished and avid bass fisherman. He served in the US Navy from 1944 until 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jimmie Jo Arnspiger Jester. He is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Jester Cannon-Smith and Jill Janeece Jester, a son: Hiram Gilbert (Gil) Jester, III, two grandsons: Kevin and Bryan Cannon, a great granddaughter Destiny Cannon, and best friend Freeda Blount. Services will be held Monday, January 24th at noon in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.
