Hoang Binh Le's Obituary
Mr. Binh Le, age 86, of Rockwall, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall.
He was the eldest of four children born to the late Hoa Xuan Le and Song Thi Hoang in Vietnam. He graduated from the University of Hanoi, where he pursued his studies in Physics.
He devoted more than 30 years of his professional life as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his distinguished career in academia, he was known for his dedication to teaching and his commitment to mentoring students. He later co-founded HUTECH, where he served as Vice President until his retirement. A passionate educator, he inspired many generations of students who benefited from his knowledge and guidance.
He is survived by his wife, Lan Tu; his son, Viet Le, and daughter-in-law Ngan Chu; his daughter, Minh Le; his son, Thien Le, and daughter-in-law, Trang Nguyen; and his grandchildren, Quan Le, Han Le, Minh Nguyen and Victor Le. He also leaves behind numerous colleagues, friends, and extended family members in both Vietnam and the United States who will remember him with great respect and affection.
