Holly Hong Lam's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Holly Hong Lam
August 9, 1971 – July 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Holly Hong Lam, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who departed this life on July 16, 2025, at the age of 53 in Wylie, Texas.
Born on August 9, 1971, Holly spent most of her life in Garland, Texas, where she built a life filled with love, compassion, and purpose. She was a devoted wife to Andy Gian, and a cherished mother to Christine Gian and her husband Johnny Trinh, Trisha Gian, and Cathy Gian. She is also survived by her loving mother, Tuyet Thí Chau, and was preceded in death by her beloved father, Binh Lam, whose memory she carried with her throughout her life.
Holly is also survived by her ten beloved siblings and their spouses and is reunited in peace with one sibling who preceded her in death. She cherished her family deeply and brought warmth, laughter, and love to all their lives.
She was known for her unwavering work ethic and creative spirit. Holly spent many years working as a nail technician and caterer, where she shared her talents with clients and her community, often going above and beyond to make others feel welcomed and cared for.
A devout Buddhist, Holly lived her life grounded in compassion and mindfulness. She was a proud volunteer and found joy in giving back to others. She had a deep love for traveling, especially to serene beach destinations, and cherished the simple joys of life — including the unconditional companionship of her beloved Maltipoo, Yoshi.
Her kindness, selflessness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to shine through the lives she impacted.
