Rebecca Jean Dietz
My Dad never stopped smiling or seeing the beauty in life. He was my hero, my play mate, my cheerleader and became the model for which I would compare all men. He loved football, apple pie, strawberry jello and hamburgers cooked until they were charred on the grill. He loved his family and was a pillar of strength to all of his children. He was gentle, kind, soft spoken and loved animals especially dogs and horses. He treated my mother like a queen and was her primary caregiver when she became unable to care for herself. When his own health began to fade, he was no longer able to take care of Mom and his spark for life began to fade. Never the complainer, he fought up until the time Jesus called him home. I have no regrets because my Daddy knew I loved him and he is now with his Lord Jesus in heaven. He is probably meeting with Tom Landry and all the other great coaches talking football. Gig 'em Aggies, Go Cowboys and Horace Leon Dietz! I love you Daddy. Your daughter, Becky.
