Horace Busby Hardin's Obituary
Horace, age 93, born in Tyler, TX and passed from this life March 10, 2016 in Dallas. He has lived in Dallas the past 53 years. Spent four years in the United States Air Force during World War II. After his service time, Horace was employed by Nabisco, Inc. in the sales department for 36 years, with the last 20 years as the sales manager in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. A member of the Highland Oaks Church of Christ serving as Deacon, Elder, and 14 years as chairman of the 39ers Senior Group. He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 67 years, Hazel Hardin. He is survived by one son, Larry of Dallas; two grandchildren, Phillip and wife Holly Hardin, Kristin Gonzalez and husband Ahiram; 5 great grandchildren, Gage, Sara Beth, Sydnee, Aaron and Gavin. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane on Wednesday, March 16 at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Caring & Sharing Ministry at Highland Oaks Church of Christ, or to any ministry of your choice.
