Horace Jerome Stone's Obituary
Born April 10, 1925 in Dallas, TX and passed away November 13, 2008 in Richardson, TX. He was a graduate of Van High School, Van, TX. Mr. Stone received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University and Masters Degrees in Engineering at the University of Houston and Rice University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Stone founded Stone Associates in 1964 and represented Kent Demolition Tool Company out of Kent, Ohio from 1965 through his retirement in 2006. He was also a 50 year Mason. He is preceded in death by his son, John Thomas Stone; parents, Horace and Elizabeth Stone; and sister, Mary Beth Stone. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Debby Stone, of Plano, TX; daughter, Eleanor Stone of Richardson, TX. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial service is 3:30 PM, Friday, November 21, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
