Howie, Found memories of working with you during the DM Primier days. You were always the light of the party. RIP my friend.Bud B.
I met Howard {the hound dog aka the dog} after Howard and I were discharged from the US Air Force We met in Birmingham, MI where he lived with his sister and grandmother in 1956 Since that time we have remained friends in person and through the internet. Howard was one of the most versatile person I have ever met. He was a great speaker, dancer, singer, impersonator, and lover of a things female. He loved golf and any type of competitive sport. I am proud to say he was my brother from another mother My family will forever miss him He made lots of memorable moments We will never forget YOU Love Larry and Carol PS Heaven will never be the same.
Ride the wind Howie, your emails will be missed! You called me cousin, treated like family. My condolences to the family.
Rest easy old Friend, I really enjoyed all our adventures and fun times.
Howie, RIP my friend of 25+ years. I will miss you so much. Thanks for getting me in to golf, and letting me play on Sundays with your hysterical group. You always supported me from day 1, even way back when I was 25 years old when we met at Southern Comfort. I love you and will never forget you.
Howie: You were one of a kind ! We shared many good times together and I will miss you. Your pal Billy.
“Your presence we miss,
Your memory we treasure,
Loving you always,
Forgetting you never”
God bless and Rest Howard Rodgers, buddy and friend.
Howie was the oldest of the first cousins and i am glad he has shed his earthly body as he suffered far too long with it. One of our Aunts, Aunty Maro used to say when they all died they would rise at midnight and play poker. Well, i’ve no doubt Howie is sitting at that poker table right now and was welcomed with open arms From the Rodgers family. We were blessed to have such wonderful good people, and parents and many characters in our family. Always had wonderful memories when we would have family reunions. Howie did love his family very much and always made a point of coming to Akron to visit as much as he could. Rest in peace Ole’ How and my thoughts are with his family… Love to all, Cousin Crissi
Our prayers of peace are with your family.
