Hubert Hendricks Chase's Obituary
Beloved father of Diana, Cindy and Douglas Chase, made his transition on Thursday, June 25, 2009. He was 93 years old and served in World War II as a captain in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel W. Chase and 3 brothers. He was a joyful good man, interested in everything around him, especially family, gardening, carpentry and bridge. He and Ethel moved to Dallas in 1948 where he worked at Mobil Oil Company for 33 years. Upon retirement in 1978, he led a full life constantly helping others with their projects. Hubert was an extraordinary man with many life long friends, a strong character and a gracious, accepting nature. He will be missed by all who knew him and always remembered by his children, his grand children, Kristianne McCrary, Joshua Sadler, Matthew Sadler, Nicolas Chase, Tyler and Travis Chase and his great grand children Autymn McCrary and Athen McCrary. Memorial service will be Monday, June 29 at 12:30 pm at Restland in Dallas on Greenville Ave. in the Wildwood Chapel.
