Hubert Edward Cooper Jr.'s Obituary
Cooper, Jr., Hubert Edward of Dallas died January 31, 2014 at Medical City Hospital in Farmers Branch. He was born in Dallas on March 11, 1928 to Hubert Edward Cooper, Sr and Idyll Darryl Loving Cooper. He married his high school sweetheart, Doris Lorene Church on June 1, 1945. He started working for Atlantic Richfield Company in 1947 and worked there until 1985 working most of the time in the new computer department as a programmer and system analyst. Edward was a wonderful man who considered family and friends the most important priorities of life. He loved to travel and work with tools in his shop. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris; his three children and their spouses, Daniel Edward Cooper and Susie, Pamela Kaye Marolda and Michael and Craig Steven Cooper and Sarita as well as four grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his younger sister Darryl Duncan. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
