I will greatly miss you Papaw. Will miss your laugh and stories. Your great knowledge of the bible and how you stood firm in your faith and loved God and loved his people and wanted to bring them closer to Him. How you were so passionate about his word and the teachings of Jesus. I remember you were also very passionate about the history of our family. I will miss going to your house and sitting at the table looking through the photo albums you made with such care. How you would tell me who was who and how they related to me. Right now though, I know there is no other place you'd rather be. I know you are walking the streets of gold with Mamaw, Uncle David and all your siblings that were there celebrating and welcoming you as you walked through those pearly gates. You are with the God you devoted your life to here on earth and loved with such a great love. Hearing him say, "Welcome and well done my good and faithful son." Until we see each other again there. I love you Papaw.

I will always have the fondest memories of Bro. Summers. I can just imagine him up in heaven with Bro Glidewell and everyone else.. Haha.... Oh the gathering of souls up there. Can you just imagine? Shout a little for me as you meet our loved ones.
Love you and miss you so much, Papaw. But I’m glad you’re home in heaven. Thank you for loving me for who I am. I love you just the same. Always.
I will miss my Grandpa Buck, but I can’t be too sad knowing that he is no longer suffering. Rest in peace, Grandpa, I love you.
