Kenneth May's Obituary
Hugh Kenneth May, 86, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
He was born and raised in Alto, Texas.
Ken worked hard in his career starting as an orderly in the hospital and then getting an education. He received a Bachelor's from Stephen F Austin and then a Master's from Trinity University. Ken's extensive career in healthcare administration over several decades included being the CEO at Richardson Medical Center and President of the Dallas/FW Hospital council. He loved being on the lake including boating and fishing and was active in the Baptist church serving as a deacon.
Ken is survived by: his wife, Beverly May; his children, Keith May and Angela Meyer; his son-in-law, Bret Meyer; and his grandchildren Ty, Chance and Kendyl Meyer.
He will be laid to rest with Keith and Angela's mother, Evie Owens May.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. Interment will follow in the Court of Freedom at Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the Wildwood Chapel.
