Humberto Martinez, devoted husband and loving father, was born on October 12, 1956 in Harlingen, Texas to Jesus and Ernestina Martinez and passed away December 26, 2015 in Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by father Jesus Martinez, and brother Jesus Osiel Martinez. Humberto is survived by wife of 40 years from Port Isabel, Texas, Emelia Martinez, Erica and Eric Hughes of Garland, Texas, Steven Martinez of Napa, California, granddaughters Erin and Briana Hughes, Mother- Ernestina Martinez, siblings, Hilda and Francisco Fernandez, Ernesto and Irma Martinez, Maria and Richard Hopperstad, Javier and Susana Martinez, Rolando and Letty Martinez, Elizabeth and Roger Salinas, many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He touched many lives and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home with rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will take place at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
