Hunter Hock's Obituary
Hunter Hock, 25, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2017. Born November 8, 1991, he was a loving and devoted son, fiancé, nephew, cousin and friend to many. The light that shines twice as bright, shines half as long, and Hunter shined so very brightly. He was born with Cystic Fibrosis, but not once did he ever let that hold him back. He was a free spirit who lived life to its fullest and on his own terms. Hunter loved baseball, softball, tennis, ultimate frisbee, basketball, snow skiing and water skiing. He also had a passion for cars. Whether it was showing one of the many cars or trucks he restored with his dad, or driving around in his beloved Challenger, you knew it would never have a speck of dust on it. He would also be frequently found at Chick-Fil-A, getting a sweet tea with his mom or fiancé. During his busy life, he also found time to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Hunter will forever be remembered for his unconditional love, charming smile, funny sense of humor, and his daily “I love you!” Hunter was preceded in death by his Nan and Pop, Betty and Walter Moore; grandfather, Lloyd Hock; and uncle, Stanley Moore. Hunter is survived by his parents, Sharon and Jeffery Hock; fiancé, Desi Chapa; grandmother, Betty Hock; aunts and uncles, Karen and John Bennett, John and Kelly Moore, Cherie and David Hanna; cousins, Blake Bennett and Sammi Moore. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church Richardson. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, 75243.
