Hunter Clair Wilson Sr.'s Obituary
Wilson, Sr., Hunter Clair, 81, of Lewisville, died Sunday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to the late Hunter and Fannie Wilson, May 21, 1932, in Uler, West Virginia. Hunter later served in the United States Navy until 1955 and then served reserved duty with the West Virginia National Guard. He was a retired car dealer. Hunter is survived by the love of his life Carole Bartholomew of Lewisville; sister, Mrs. Gertrude Boothe of Danville, Kentucky; children, Beverly Wilson of Irving; Pamela Condra of Cedar Hill; David Klett of Southlake; Dee Bucy of Dayton, Ohio; Dean Klett of N. Richland Hills; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He leaves behind many wonderful extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Hunter Clair Wilson, Jr; sister, Irene Taylor; brothers, Otto Wilson, Smythe Wilson and Johnny Wilson. Funeral services will be held at the Restland Memorial Chapel in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, August 22, at 2:30 pm. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, the Irving Schools Foundation, or the Scleroderma Foundation.
