Huynh T. Chiep "Thuy"'s Obituary
Born May 18th 1945 in Vietnam, Chiep “Thuy” Huynh was 2nd eldest of 11 children. Independent and strong willed, Thuy decided to move to Saigon, Vietnam at the age of 18 to establish herself in order to help support her family. After a few years working in the restaurant industry, Thuy opened her own successful restaurant. Unfortunately, when the country fell into war, Thuy was forced to migrate to the United States in 1983. After a brief residence in St. Louis, Thuy finally settled her family in Dallas in 1989. During her time in Dallas, Thuy enjoyed fishing with her Husband, cooking, gardening, and was an active part of the Vietnamese Community. Unfortunately, on August 11th 2016, the loving Wife and Mother lost her uphill battle with cancer. She is survived by her Husband, Children, and Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
