Ida Mae Moody Hoffman's Obituary
Passed away on March 19, 2011. Born August 11, 1924 to Mercer H. and Minnie L. Moody. Predeceased by sister Louise and husband, Fred L. Howard of Houston, TX. Survived by husband Robert E. Hoffman, Sr.; children, Robert E. Hoffman, Jr., Ronald M. Hoffman, Vicki Lynne Hoffman Ward, Melinda and husband, James Michael Combs; grandchildren Shannon Lee Ward, Kathryn Kelly and husband, Stephen Barrett Sturges, Natalie Suzanne Combs and a forth-coming great-grandchild, courtesy of Kathryn and Stephen. She was raised in east Dallas, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1941. In addition to being a wonderful wife and the most loved and cherished mother ever, she had a rewarding career at Cokesbury Book Store. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home and funeral service will be Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas.
