Marshall and Illiene have always been dear to the Carroll Family. The items he made in his backyard shop were a great support to the funding of the Carroll Reunion every year. Marshall rarely missed a Reunion and when He married Illiene, he brought her and she became a beloved family member. Illiene's 90th Birthday Party is a special memory for me. Beside being a great birthday party with enough food for an army (thanks to Ann and other members of the family), each attendee received a small plant, an item of the cacti family, and today that plant still remains in my kitchen window three times the size it was when given to me some 4 years ago. I will always remember Illiene's 90th Birthday and many other times when she and Marshall visited my father in Granbury, and Illiene and I walked the square going into every store to look and shop! The Carrolls loved her and she will be so missed by all.
