Imogene "Jean" Schramm Thomas' Obituary
Imogene “Jean” Schramm Thomas passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Jean was a native of Coppell, TX and a long-time resident of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Thomas; sister, Florene S. Schrieber; brother, George A. Schramm; parents, Henry C. and Emma S. Schramm, and two step-children. She is survived by her brother, Carl R. Schramm and his family; two step-children and their families; extended family and loving friends. Jean enjoyed life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She cared greatly for her family and friends; loved good food and a cold beer. Our hearts are heavy and hurting for our loss, but we are so thankful that Jean’s suffering has ended. May she rest in eternal peace. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church, 3014 Oak Lawn Ave., Dallas, TX on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made, to your favorite charity, in Jean’s memory.
