Inez J. Ramsey's Obituary
Inez J. Ramsey, 91, passed away September 28, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Angelina County, Texas, to Willie Belle and Charlie Walker. She moved to Dallas, Texas at the beginning of World War II and attended secretarial school. After graduating she moved back to Lufkin to work as a secretary. She met and married the love of her life, “Pat” Ramsey, in 1944. Their marriage lasted 60 loving years. After the war, Pat and Inez moved to Dallas, Texas. She was a long-time and faithful member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church. She enjoyed her church life – the worship services, Sunday school classes and the fellowship get-togethers. She was the mother of three daughters, Sharon Woods, Rebecca Fogel and Tina Cradduck (deceased). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She greatly loved and enjoyed her family – especially the many small great grandchildren. The viewing for Inez Ramsey will be held form 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Inez Ramsey will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Lake Highlands Baptist Church, 642 Brookhurst Drive, Dallas, Texas 75218. Graveside service will follow at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
