Irene Allen Pardue's Obituary
Irene Allen Pardue, 94, died April 20, 2009 in Arlington, Texas. Mrs. Pardue was born in Bowie County to Tom Allen and Minnie Thomas Allen. She was a graduate of East Texas State Teachers College in Commerce. She taught in McLeod, Hughes Springs and Grand Prairie, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Weldon C. Durham and Dr. C.H. Pardue, Jr and a granddaughter, Rene Durham Harp. Survivors include four sons: Claude Durham of Lubbock, Fred and Robert Durham of Marshall, and Richard Durham of Arlington. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
