Irene R. Pfaff's Obituary
Irene was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 after an unexpected massive heart attack. She was born January 2, 1933 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School in 1951 and received her BA degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. On February 18, 1956 she and Robert were married. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years and son, Mike and wife, Jean; daughter, Nancy; grandson, Jeremy and fiancee’ Stephanie; and great granddaughter, Jacye Spurgin. Irene was preceded by her parents and a brother, Charles. Irene was an elementary school teacher for many years and joined her husband in business in 1983 until they retired at the end of 1997. Irene was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a gracious, friendly lady and will be missed by many. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, The American Cancer Society, or your favorite charity.
