Irma Bell's Obituary
Irma was born May 1, 1919 in Marietta, Texas, and passed away on December 16, 2010. The daughter of Rufus L. and Onie Simmons Robison. She married Herschel Hogue on May 7, 1940 in Dangerfield, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Floy Marquis (Mark) Bell September 3, 1977 in Oakcliff, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by one daughter, Sue (Claud) Awalt of St. Joseph, 2 stepdaughters, Anita Collier of Azle, Texas and Barbara (Martin) Eastburn of Felton Calf., 5 grandchildren: Mark (Sherri) Green of College Station, Texas, Timothy Green of Dallas, Texas, Tammy Hough of Royse City, Texas, Robin (Roger) Cruse Mahomet , IL, Scott Awalt of Rowlett, Texas, and stepgrandson, Sean Eastburn of Felton Calf., two sisters, Ruthie (Marshall) Wommack and Joyce (Doug) England from Naples, Texas, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one daughter Ann Green; step-grandson Steven Collier; two brothers, Leonard Robison and Leodiest Robison; two sisters, Onida Baskin and Berniece Daniel. Irma worked many years as a hairdresser and in sales of lady’s clothing. She was a member of Axe Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of Eastern Star. Service will be at 2PM on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior.
