Irma Salas Benitez of Plano, Texas passed away December 7, 2018. She was born on March 6, 1957 to Nieves Salas and Eva Solis in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She was 61 years of age.She leaves behind to cherish her memory three beautiful daughters, Rosaura Benitez and husband Julio Nunez of Irving, Texas, Reina Gutierrez and husband Peter of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mary Ann Benitez and Perla of Dallas, Texas; one devoted son, Vincent Benitez and wife Valentina; eight grandchildren, Ruben Benitez, David Calderon, Mark Calderon, Ava Gutierrez, Joel Gutierrez, Christian Gutierrez, Isaiah Mendoza, and Silas Benitez; Her dear mother, Eva S. Salas; one sister, Elva Ramirez; and eight brothers, Rufino Salas, Nieves Salas, Ruperto Salas, Jose Maria Salas, Segismundo Salas, Oscar Salas, Raul Salas, and Jose Luis Salas; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and dear friends. She will also be greatly missed by her beloved “Popeh”.The funeral service for Irma will take place at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 10, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends in the Memorial Chapel for a visitation and viewing at 9:00 AM. Following the service, there will be a short procession to Restland Memorial Park where Irma will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories.Arrangements for Irma have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
