Irma Castillo's Obituary
On July 11th in a houseful of love and family, the Lord reunited Irma Castillo, 82 with the love of her life and husband of sixty-two years, Lupe Castillo who preceded her in death on July 5, 2017. In life as in death, Irma was a woman to be loved and was therefore always surrounded by friends and family. Her three daughters will always carry their lessons in keeping a spotless, yet warm home, while her six grandchildren will never be lost thanks to her knowledge of all major highways learned via mall location. She may have been woman of few words, she was always happy to help and a friend or family member in need with no exceptions of having her gracious favors repaid. We will never forget her ” Manos ”,”Jaws” or two generations of “babies” who pulled themselves out of bed and because of the sound of her hands patting tortillas was the most promising 6:30AM alarm anyone could ever hope for. She is survived by her daughters, Elsa and son in law, Ernest Onderdonk, Nadine Castillo, Sonia and Quinton Bullard; grandchildren, Lisa and her husband, Casey Worth, Jarrod Watson, Renee and wife Danielle Watson , Christina Castillo, Jennifer Bullard, Darrell Bullard; great-grandchildren, Zane and Kendall Day, Kadence Worth; brothers and sisters, Minvera Hernandez, Zenon Garza, Luis Garza, Rodolfo Garza, Ricardo Garza, Jaime Garza, and lots of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home
