Isabel Louise Miller's Obituary
Isabel Miller passed away peacefully on November 16th surrounded by her loving family at the age of ninety. Born to Charles and Mary Nicholson who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her parents and five brothers Charles, Glen, Herb, Chuck, and William. She was blessed to have loved two wonderful men, Maj. E.A. “Doc” Miller who she was married to for 43 years before his death in 1988 and Gerald D Eaton who she was married to for 16 years before his death in 2007. Isabel traveled the United States as an Air Force wife while raising her children before starting a 23 year fashion career with Lester Melnick. She loved playing bridge and once defeated Omar Sherif in a duplicate bridge game at Dyess AFB. She is survived by her children David Miller and wife Alene of Smyrna TN; Sandra Pappas and husband Michael of Dallas, TX; and Margie Kneedler of Garland, TX; sister Margie Robinson and husband Jim of New Castle, PA; grandchildren: David Miller (LeighAnne), Michele Johnsen (Mark): Karen Pearl, Michael Miller (Jade), Melissa Lilie (Mark), Staci Patryak (Danny), T.K. Kneedler (Lisa), Josh Kneedler (Natalie), 20 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5:00- 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 12:00 PM at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
