To the family of Walt and Iva – Ben and I learned, only recently, about the passing of Iva and are hopeful you'll receive this note. During the early 1990's, our family moved to Athens for Ben to serve as the pulpit minister of the Eastern Hills Church of Christ. During that brief time there, we truly fell in love with that dear church family – and with Walt and Iva!! What warm and caring people they were! Walt and Ben loved to talk about fishing at the area lakes, and I was Iva's Mary Kay consultant. We SO enjoyed visits with them – once, Iva gave me a sweet glass jewel box – typical of her sweet heart and thoughtfulness!! They blessed our lives in many ways and we are better people for having known them! We pray that God will comfort and bless your family with many sweet memories of times past, especially right now during these early days of Iva's passing. We look forward to the day when we'll see both Walt and Iva again – confident that, because Jesus SO loved them and they in turn loved and served Him, we can all rejoice together again in a Heavenly meeting!
