Ivor Lanelle Harmon's Obituary
Ivor Lanelle “Lyn” Harmon went to be with the Lord, her Savior, on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the age of 96. She was born June 12, 1924 to Ivor D. and Janie Ewing in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was married to David Harmon for 32 years, retired from Braniff Airlines and was a long-time member of Northway Church Dallas.
Lyn had a passion for travel and loved to knit and crochet, and she loved watching football and movies. She especially loved the Texas Longhorns. She was proud of becoming a member of the Order of the Master Mule Skinners of the Grand Canyon Trails when she rode a mule up and down the Grand Canyon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Harmon and her brother, Billy Ewing. She is survived by her step-daughter, Leigh Harmon and step-son, Michael Harmon and her nephews, David Ewing and his wife, Debbie and Mark Ewing and his wife, Rhonda. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Services: Visitation will be Saturday, October 24 from 1:30 – 2:15 at Restland Funeral Home, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243, (972) 238-7111. A Graveside Service will follow at Restland at 2:30.
