Ivy Alberta Waithe's Obituary
Ivy Alberta Waithe, age 86 of Sachse, Texas departed this life on August 25, 2019 to be with her Eternal Father. Ivy hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana (South America) and migrated to the United States of America in 1991 to join her children.She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Prince Albert Waithe. She is survived by children Megan (Step-daughter), Kingsley (Cheryl), Doreen (Ron), Maureen (Derek), Bernadette (Bryan), Lindon (Zoe), Sherlock (Michelle), and Shawn. Two brothers proceeded her in death, James and Cyril, as well as, one sister Iona. She is survived by four brothers, Randolph, Basil, Herman, and Sherlock and one sister Evadne. She is also survived by Renia and 32 other grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Special mention and consideration is given to her endearing caregiver, Hortencia Mancilla, who help care for her more than 9 years.Remains rest at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas 75243. The funeral service will be held Friday August 30th, 10 am at the Main Chapel. Interment Service will be conducted 1pm at Restland Cemetery.
