Jack William Blodgett's Obituary
BLODGETT, JACK WILLIAM Born 7:29 PM, March 1, 1933 in Gary, Indiana, died January 2 in Plano, TX. He was an Eagle Scout, scientist, deacon , geologist, friend, husband, father and grandfather. He liked to read, cook, travel and was an excellent planner and organizer. He met and married Dona, the love of his life, in the Texas panhandle & lived with her for 49 happy years. Survived by Dona, daughters and sons-in-law, Valerie & Mike Henderson, Lewisville; Cheryl & Keith Clark, Van Alstyne; Vicki & Mike Culpepper, Mesquite. Also grandchildren Logan, Micah, Evann and Ragan Henderson; Adrianne Clark; Justin and Taylor Wilson; Lane and Max Culpepper; 3 great-grandchildren and one nephew Robert Blodgett. Memorial service will be on Saturday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at 1st Presbyterian Church, 319 LaSalle, Richardson, TX. The family will receive friends in the church visitation area on Friday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Jack requested that memorials be given to First Presbyterian Church, Richardson to purchase a defibrillator for the church.
