Jack Davis Campbell's Obituary
Born September 5, 1920 in Dallas and passed away March 14, 2011 in Dallas. Preceded in death by parents, Brice M. and Emma Campbell. Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy Campbell; daugther, Sharon Campbell; three grandchildren, Joshua Arivett, Kyla Brinkley, and Zack Sham; three great-grandchildren, Adaleigh Arivett, lane Brinkley and Brett Brinkley; nephew, Todd Workman; brother, Brice M. Campbell, Jr.; and sister, Arlene Workman. Jack served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII-European Theatre, obtained rank of 2nd Lieutenant, was co-pilot of the Dixie II of the 466th Bomb Group 786th Bomb Squadron. He was awarded three bronze stats for his bravery and service to our country. After the war he then worked for the City of Dallas as a Civil Engineer for 33 years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Redeemer Bible Church, 721 Easton Rd., Dallas, TX 75218. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 with visitation one hour prior. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
