Jack Winters Hamilton's Obituary
Jack W. Hamilton, 87, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Jack was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Athens, Texas, to Mary Alma and Edward Hamilton. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Jack worked at Turner Controls for many years and later operated his own company, Aquatronics, that serviced water treatment facilities in the greater Fort Worth area. Survivors: Son, James Hamilton of Austin; daughters, Jessie Roshan of Seattle, Wash., Jackie Jones and husband, Robert Christopher, of Fort Worth, Jill Butts and husband, Roy, of Fort Worth, Janeen Hamilton of Tacoma, Wash.; sister, Polly Flinker of Houston; grandchildren, Joanna Brightwater, Chris and Sheila Russell, Stephanie Townsend, Karie Lewis, Preston Miller, Melissa White, Jennifer Butts, Britainny and Heather Martin; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
