Jack V. Layne's Obituary
LAYNE, JACK V. born May 26, 1937 in St. Louis City, MO and passed away September 4, 2012 in Bonham, TX. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; step-parents; his daughter, Mary and most recently his wife, Wendy. He is survived by his two daughters, Carla and Melinda; his son, Ronald; step son, Paul; step daughters, Nina, Laura and Yvonne; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack was a 20 year career veteran in the USAF serving in the US, Korea and Germany. He was also a past Commander in the DAV, Garland Chapter. Jacks’ second career was in Telecommunications in Richardson, TX. Service will be held 3:00PM, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the chapel. Reception following. Graveside service with full military honors at DFW National Cemetery, 9:15AM, Monday, September 10. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to D.A.V. or Salvation Army.
