Jack Weldon Savage's Obituary
Jack Weldon Savage, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Boerne, Texas. He was born to Mr. Herbert Burtis Savage and Mrs. Bessie Lou Hicks Savage on October 28,1928, in Dallas, Texas.
He married Patsy Lynn Hampton on June 14, 1947, in Dallas, Texas. He is remembered by his love of God, love of family, and family reunions. He made people laugh. He loved riddles and brain teasers and he was a prankster. He sang and played beautiful music on his clarinet. He enjoyed camping, building model airplanes, and flying them. He was a perfectionist and was a master machinist. He helped people any way he could.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Imogene Jones, son Craig Savage, and grand-daughter Alisha Sewell.
He is survived by wife Patsy Savage, daughter Christie Savage, son Chad Savage and his wife Christina, daughter Cynthia Neill and husband Barry, daughter Cassie Sewell and husband Jimmy, daughter-in-law Stacey Savage (wife of Craig Savage). Grand-children: Jason Laird, Casey Savage, Candice Charlson and husband Matt, Josh Neill and wife Amanda, Zach Neill, Jacob Sewell, Cody Sewell, Micah Sewell, Abbie Sewell Mechler and husband Eric, Katlyn Savage Decker and husband Travis, Hannah Savage and husband Logan, and Kyle Savage. Great-grand-children: Abbie Phelps Savage, Leo Charlson, Jack Charlson, Emmett Charlson, Leilee Neill Cartwright and husband Tristan, Lily Neill, Eli Neill, Aliza Sewell, Darla Sewell, Milli Sewell, Freya Sewell, Presley Postell, Paisley Mechler, Everett Mechler, Raelynn Decker, and Addie Decker.
Visitation for Jack Weldon Savage will be Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
