Jack Floyd Smith's Obituary
SMITH, JACK FLOYD Born May 25, 1932 in Omaha, TX and passed away September 17, 2008 in Richardson, TX. Major Jack Smith was an Air Force Fighter Pilot Instructor. He loved to fly, enjoyed woodworking, hunting, target shooting and was active in Boy Scouts. Jack graduated with an Engineering Degree at Texas A&M. He opened Modern Industrial Heating in 1972. He later opened Furnace Systems, Inc. in 1989. He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Scott Smith and parents, Roscoe and Effie Mae Smith. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Smith; son, Terry Floyd Smith and granddaughter, Alicia Ann Smith. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
