Jackie Anne Stanglin's Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Jackie Anne Stanglin, 91, announce her passing on May 19,
2024.
She was born September 4, 1932 to Margia Lee and Raymond L. McGahee in Kennett, Missouri.
She attended Celeste High School where she graduated in 1949. Shortly after her graduation, she
moved to Dallas where she worked for Southwestern Bell for many years.
A devoted member of the Church of Christ, she enjoyed singing with the KRLD radio chorus program, gave her time tirelessly many benefitted from her benevolent work.
Throughout the years, she became a published author, a skilled maker of gourmet candy, and traveling
became one of her passions.
Proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ernest Stanglin, Mother, Margia Lee McGahee,
Sister Marjean Hensley and infant son.
Survivors include her sons David Mark Stanglin (Debbie), Michael Lynn Stanglin (Staci), daughter,
Marianne Stanglin Masey, granddaughter, Stephanie Stanglin and her beloved twin sister, Peggy
Wallace. She was privileged to include Derek and Jarrard Keil as her sons. Nieces, nephews and dear friends all held a special place in her heart.
