Jacquelin Manor Baker's Obituary
Jacquelin Manor “Ruth” Baker, born on September 26, 1933, in Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Frisco, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a devoted companion to her pets.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Manor, 10 siblings, and her husband Thomas, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. She is survived by her sons Thomas and James, and her sister Sandra Hurst. She leaves behind grandchildren Jacquelin Leah Sells, Shannon Calegari, Kristin Reeder and Ian Baker as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Jordan Bosco, Brandon Myers, Griffen Sutton Reeder, Emmeline James Reeder, and Eli Allen Baker.
A proud veteran, Jackie served in the Air Force as a General Clerk from 1952 to 1954 for the USAF JAG in Westover, Massachusetts. When she left the Military in 1954, she dedicated the next 38+ years of her life working as a Civilian for the United States Air Force. After retiring she occupied her time volunteering in the community focusing on Disabled Veterans and animal shelters.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Silver Leaf Assisted Living and the Hospice of Texas for their compassionate care and support during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local Veteran groups and animal shelter in her memory. Jackie's love for her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her pets will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
