Jacqueline Marie Woods' Obituary
Jacqueline Marie Woods (Jackie), born in Beaumont, TX on Sunday, November 26, 1950 to Jack and Marguerite Taylor, gained her wings on Saturday, July 27, 2019 in McKinney, TX due to a long battle of health issues.Jackie worked at USA Today in the SW Advertising office in Farmers Branch until her retirement in 2009.Jackie leaves her husband of 43 years, and the love of her life, James Woods, two daughters, Marcie Pruitt of Corinth, Chana McNeal and her husband Jim of Corinth. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Bethany Pruitt, Bailey Pruitt, Mikayla Vestal, Jaelyn McNeal, Garrett McNeal, and Riley McNeal; and one great-granddaughter Jayda Taylor. One sister Debbie Wagoner and her husband John of Midlothian; nephew Cassidy Johnson and niece Tiffany Johnson.Grandma, as she preferred to be called, lived for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved being with her family, her dogs, and especially having her feet in the sand next to her best friend Debbie Havens of Santa Fe, Texas.Grandma was also a lifetime member of the Texas PTA which she rightfully earned with her dedication to volunteering at her children’s and grandchildren’s schools.Grandma will be greatly missed by many and remembered as the fun-loving person she was and her over the top holiday decorations.Family will receive friends at Restland Funeral Home Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Memorial service will be in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside service immediately following..
