Jacquelyn Goodwin Bradley's Obituary
“An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.” Such was the life of Jacquelyn Goodwin Bradley, daughter of Jack & Graneta Goodwin, born on August 24, 1937, in Dallas. In November of 1957, she caught the eye of Randy Bradley, and immediately became the love of his life; a position that she never lost for 57 years. After their marriage, she set as her goal to be the most excellent wife and mother that she could be. Nothing was more important to her than raising her family to love and cherish her Savior Jesus Christ. She poured her life into her family, which continued as she became a grandmother, and over the past four years, a great-grandmother. Her spiritual gift of service was clearly displayed as she worked alongside her husband, who ministered as a deacon, as well as in various Sunday School classes that they served over their fifty year membership at First Baptist Church Dallas. Most recently, they’ve served in the PathFinder class. On November 13, 2014, she was ushered into the very presence of her Savior Whom she served faithfully, and now can serve Him face to face. Along with her parents, Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mindy Pinson Bradley. She is survived by her husband, Charles Randall Bradley of Dallas; daughter, Delaina Wimpee and husband, Bob of Waxahachie; son, David Bradley and wife, Suzanne, of Mansfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Clark, and husband, Heath; Bryan Wimpee and wife, Johnna; Rachel Bradley; Tyler Wimpee and wife, Tori; and Laura Wimpee. She also is survived by two great-grandchildren, Adelae and Tobyn Clark. The visitation for Jacquelyn will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Jacquelyn will be at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Truitt Chapel at First Baptist Church of Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto Dallas, Texas 75201.
