Jacquelynn Hughes Lilley's Obituary
Jacquelynn Hughes Lilley, 91, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2025. She was born on December 23, 1933, in Livingston, Texas, and lived a long and beautiful life devoted to her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
On July 27, 1952, Jacquelynn married the love of her life, Robert C. Lilley, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years. Robert preceded her in death on December 28, 2005.
Jacquelynn began her career as an executive assistant at TransCo, where she was admired for her intelligence, dedication, and professionalism. After starting their family, she devoted herself full time to raising her children, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She was a much beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her three children: Jim Lilley and wife Lisa, Ann Marshall and husband Patrick, and Michael Lilley and wife Brandi. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Rachel Simmons and husband Wade, Meagan Lilley, Ellie Marshall and spouse Levy, John Marshall, Allison Marshall, Evelynn Lilley, and Piper Lilley.
Jacquelynn had a deep love of traveling and explored much of the world with curiosity and joy. She also enjoyed baking, reading, and working crossword puzzles—pursuits that reflected her creativity and sharp mind.
Her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.
A private family service will be held to honor her life.
