Jaimeian Coriell Pride's Obituary
On January 31, 1975 in Denver, Colorado, Pam Pride gave birth to a beautiful son “Jaimeian”, but Texas has been his home for some time. He accepted Christ at an early age and felt he knew his purpose. During his early childhood, he attended schools in both the Dallas and Garland areas. He graduated from Garland High in 1993. He then attended and obtained his associates degree in electronics at ITT Tech in Garland in 1995. But his love was always directed toward music. Realizing his passion and gift to inspire others, Jaimeian (known by most as “Kuwn”) soon found he was happiest when he was promoting (Metro Muzik), supporting and grooming hip-hop artists. His desire was that hip-hop music would continue to expand and become a household name in both the Dallas Metroplex and the music industry. Therefore, he worked to bring continued knowledge of hip-hop’s positive effects to the community. Survivors include his parents Stephen & Pam Pride, brothers Jamaul (Marquita) Pride, Jamar Mercadel and sister Jaquetta Pride along with a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends on July 27th, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on July 28th 2012 at 3:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charitiy of your choice.
