I was a FRAT brother of Jim's at SMU, and also a CPA. I had not seen him in many, many years, but remember him well. So sorry to hear of his passing.

For 43 years, Jim was my CPA and friend. Our sharing of love for family was evident with every visit. sometimes at my home, sometimes at Jim's office, sometimes at a bar. Our sharing of the love for the game of golf was always a topic. We played in a couple of tournaments together.
Nancy and I will miss Jim, his wit and humor. His financial expertise often eased out minds, and pocketbook. We wish Jim's family condolences and prayers during this difficult time.
Love Ya James,
Nancy & Gary Gamble
Jim was an awesome guy with a great spirit! We played soccer together on the Lone Star Soccer Club of Dallas along with his brother, John and many others for at least ten years. It was a close bunch of guys, managed by Tina and Eddie Flohr, sharing friendship and a competitive game of soccer. Jim will be missed by all of us for his competitive nature and passion for life. I will really miss Jim for he left a great impression on me as well as many others. I have many fond memories, my friend! RIP, Jim.
Jimmy came into my lie some 40 years ago via a friend's referral for a CPA - we became fast friends and confidants -
just a few simple weeks ago he asked about being in the Deer Hunting Fold with us and how his intentions were to get a quad runner so we did not have to assist him -
he was in hunter's heaven with a big smile in his heart -
that symbolizes Jimmy's love for the outdoors - an amazing human being
RIP Brother - Love Hum
