James Willis Alexander's Obituary
Alexander, James Willis 62 passed away suddenly on Oct. 10th, 2009. He was with dear friends doing what he loved; blazing a trail that led him to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He embraced life with a passion and he lived his dreams! We’re grateful for no pain and having him in our livesjust not long enough. Jim was born in Chicago, but got to Dallas as soon as possible! He was a 1965 Bryan Adams graduate, mechanical engineer, sheet-metal contractor, V. P. of Malone Keeling, President of RK Mechanical, President of Fidelity Mechanical and a hugely successful realtor. He did it all well! If that wasn’t enough, he was a private pilot and a Beefmaster Breeder’s Association member. But, his true passion was for training Labrador’s, earning many gaining many accolades and national recognition. Jim proudly lived his service commitments to Addison Rotary, Bryan’s House golf tournaments and being available to friends and neighbors in his neighborhood. All who knew him can attest to his generous selfless spirit. He was a complicated, private and completely wonderful man. He made me a better person and I was blessed to be his loving partner. Sleep well my Dearest; you’ve earned your rest and my heart left with you. Jim is survived by his loving wife, partner of 33 years and best friend, Sandi; brothers, Carl Alexander & Charles Alexander; mother-in-law, Bev Holland; brothers-in-law, Mike Holland (Steph) & Denny Holland (Pat); nephews, Dan and Dave Holland; and nieces, Christina & Caroline Alexander and Joey & Kim Holland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NEADS, Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans, at http://www.neads.org/ which provides assistance dogs for any combat veteran whose service injury has resulted in a disability The family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2009, followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m. in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville, Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
