Mr. James Kirk Alexander's Obituary
James Kirk Alexander was born June 23, 1956 in Stamford, TX and passed away in Plano, TX on March1, 2021 at the age of 64. He preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Walton and June Alexander, and Maternal Grandparents, Ed and Veda Pendleton.
Kirk is survived by his daughter, Samantha Alexander of Richardson; parents, Tom and Barbara Alexander of Dallas, brother, Steve Alexander and wife, Laura of Dalton, PA; sister, Judy Hinson and husband Jeff of Highland Park; nieces, Erin McAndrew and husband Collin of Midland; Ava Alexander of New York City, Alex Hinson of New York City; nephew, Sean Hinson of Highland Park. One grand nephew, Logan Thomas McAndrew of Midland.
Kirk was a Professional Insurance Adjuster by profession who worked with many companies throughout the U.S. and was also a very talented guitarist who played in bands throughout the U.S. However, his first love was studying and writing about he Bible. He was a published Biblical author and historian of over thirty years with accredited studies in Philosopy, Science and Biblical History from the University of North Texas and Liberty University(VA) where he was awarded membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He was a member of the Archaeological Institute of America. He was a published author of The Story Behind the Bible Trilogy with The Torah, The Prophets and The New Covenant making up the three volumes. Monthly he hosted a video newsletter discussing various parts of the Bible.
Service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Restland Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel.
