James Alfred Anderson's Obituary
James Alfred Anderson, age 80, while home in Carrollton, Texas with his family, left this world to be with Jesus, his Mother, Father, and Brother, Ronald Anderson, on June 19, 2022. He was born to Carl and Violet Anderson on January 1, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois.
Jim has devoted his life to his wife, Margaret Anderson, for the past 60 years. They met in 1960 at a movie theater they both worked at in Chicago. Together they have enjoyed going to the movie theater almost every Friday since that day. They relocated to Texas in 1969 and later built their forever home together in 1980. Jim was a tinkerer, loved gadgets, oldies music, and electronics which was eclipsed only by his love for his family.
Jim "Good Vibrations" Anderson, was an astute electronics guru for 40 faithful years at Texas Instruments and Raytheon Technologies. As King of the Vibrations Lab, he was entrusted with protecting our country by conducting the extreme testing in the government department on special defense projects.
Those who continue to cherish his memory will be his son, Timothy Anderson and daughter, Laura Anderson. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Carson as well as his grandchildren: Trenton Anderson, Rachel Ridlon, and Kirstin Morton; and beautiful great grandchildren: MacKenzie Morton, Michael Morton, Amelia Ridlon, and Parker Morton.
Jim leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories, witty commentary, and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him, as he “rests his eyes” for the final time.
“Anything worth doing, is worth doing right!” -James A. Anderson
