To Kathie, Cindy, James and Jeff, and to all Dr. Arledge’s family, we offer our sincere condolences and prayers, knowing that God will comfort you during this time of grief.
There are few people who cross your path, and positively affect your life, as Dr. Arledge did ours. He was a genuine friend to the Nichols and Ballard families, and also a teacher, counselor, and gentle, compassionate doctor for our pets.
Among our favorite memories of Jim are visits in his Dallas office, and in his homes in DeKalb - I especially enjoyed seeing the log cabin house! One year Jim and Sue, Zach and I went to several Christmas Tree farms in the area, looking for the perfect trees for the Season.
We are thankful that God placed Jim in our lives, the “perfect” person, whose Christian life has influenced and encouraged us throughout the years. He will always be remembered and loved by our families.
