Mr. James Raymond Ashley's Obituary
James R. Ashley of Flint, Tx, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2023 surrounded by loved ones in his home. He was 86 years old. James is survived by his wife of 67 years, Donna, sisters Beth Wilson and Barbara Maxwell and her husband Rex, daughter, Dianne Thumann and husband Mike, 2 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
James spent 48 years working for Walgreens Distribution Centers and retired as a Distribution Manager in 1992. He loved living on Lake Palestine, taking family out on his boat, and enjoying the beautiful views. His favorite pastimes included playing dominoes with friends and teaching the kids how to waterski, and harassing solicitors on the phone. He had a wonderful sense of humor.
